According to a survey by National Clean Fuels which was conducted nationwide during March and April of 2010 on small business owners, 61 percent of small business owners are in favor of clean energy legislation. The survey was based on interviews conducted with 800 owners of small businesses. The enacting clean energy legislation will strengthen economy of United States and it will also create new jobs with the help of small businesses. Around 58 percent of people those were surveyed think that the application of new energy policies will transform the economy. Those small business owners also want their business to be the part of it. African-American and Hispanic small-business owners are the highest and strong supporters of this bill.
In June 2009, the House of Representatives approved their version of a clean energy bill. Commercialization of cutting edge clean energy technologies by National Clean Fuels, Inc. (NACF).
